They were at it again ! And we helped a little, again  ..

This year’s Cold Plunge was colder than ever. Being held on the 5th August at 10:30am, it is a full two weeks earlier (and colder) than previous years’ events. Truly an event worth experiencing, whether it be in the water or on the foreshore, just taking part gives its own sense of reward.

The aim is to raise money  for homeless organisations in Adelaide and raise awareness of the plight of everyday Australians who, through circumstances beyond their control have found themselves doing it tough.  Every year Rotarians, Politicians and others swim in cold water and  shiver for  a good cause.

Our club members joined them  to help them raise the much-needed funds .

DG Kim Harvey and Paul and Rotarian Peter Gapp joined in the Cold Plunge for those in need.

Several members of out club went along to support them in their effort in braving the cold, windy and stormy conditions. Well done everyone.
