GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE (GSE)

We had a very successful dinner on 25th April where we hosted the Group 8 clubs, and other Rotarians to a presentation of the Group Study Exchange Team (GSE) members who are visiting us from Missouri in the USA. We had 90 guests who enjoyed an enlightening presentation from the team. The GSE team consists of 5 members.

The Rotary Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a unique cultural and  vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional people in the early years of their professional lives.

The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries. For approximately 4 weeks, team members experience the host country's institutions and ways of life, observe their own vocations as practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships and exchange ideas.

Teams are hosted by Rotarian families in the receiving district, and have the opportunity to share a range of experiences with these families.

This District has exchanged in many parts of the world.  This year the team came from District 6040, Missouri, United States of America.
